DRY BLONDE ALES
XX Biter
Belgium
The DeRanke brewery is founded by two good friends. There story is
classic, where the very best craft brewing usually begins as a
passionately pursued hobby, not an occupation. XX Bitter is a very
weighty beer, aggressively brewed to be the hoppiest in Belgium. It is
the first all remarkably hoppy bier- and persists in its hoppiness
until the bitter end. Very reminiscent of Orval in its heyday. 11.2 oz
Achel 8° Blonde
Belgium
A pale, strong, fruity, hoppy Trappist ale from Belgium’s newest Abbey brewery. Achel 8°
is hard to find in Belgium, in the US it is the rarest of the biers.
This blonde, flavorable bier is surprisingly a refreshing brew at 8%
alcohol by volume. It is lightly filtered, but still wholesomely hazy,
with yeast remaining in the bottle. 11.2 oz
Guldenberg
Belgium
Brewed by the De Ranke Brewery that is known for their massive
hoppiness. Made is small batches only on the weekends, De Ranke is
quickly gaining the repetition of having the best specialty biers in
Belgium. A strong blonde ale of about 8.5% alcohol by volume, it is
often quoted as being “to good to be a bier,” by wine
lovers. 11.2 oz
Slaapmutske
Belgiam
With a name like Slaapmutske it has to be good. Slaapmutske means
"night cap" in Flemish. It is a full-malt triple bier with a
considerable alcohol kick and a nice bitter after taste of hops. The
use of fresh hops added to the end of the boil as well as the extra
flourish of finishing hops that are added to give the bier a flowery
note. The result is a strong golden beer with full body and hoppy
bouqet. 25.5 oz.
